civils and HV connections within the Renewable Energy Sector. Based out of Rolleston, we have the support, capability and expertise to successfully deliver projects throughout New Zealand.

Summary:
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical
systems and equipment across renewable energy projects. This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while working safely and efficiently within a team environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and have experience working within industrial, renewable energy, or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project
specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
• Perform electrical cabling, terminations, and harness installations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Plan and complete electrical installations based on project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies,
procedures, and quality standards.
• Complete testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Ensure all licences, registrations, and certifications remain current.
• Support and mentor junior electricians and apprentices by providing guidance
and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain a professional approach and contribute positively to the project
team.
Qualifications &Skills
• Must have full working rights in New Zealand.
• Trade Qualified Electrician with current EWRB registration and practicing
licence.
• Experience working on renewable energy projects including Solar, Wind, Geo,
BESS, or similar infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and record keeping.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to travel and work on projects throughout New Zealand, including potential FIFO assignments.
• Full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
Location: This role is based across New Zealand projects, including potential opportunities in Taupo and other renewable energy project locations.
