Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the allocation of labour across the Ports and Logistics divisions for designated region (North Island or South Island)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders at Support office (GM – People & Performance, GM – Innovation & Systems, Regional Managers) and other intermodal operations to implement cost-effective, efficient solutions for customers
  • Attend to all operations of the Timecloud software system to allocate labour across customer jobs for the Ports and Logistics divisions
  • Ensure that the Group’s health and safety, union and human resources policy obligations and objectives are complied with, with respect to the Timecloud system and general labour allocation activities
  • Liaise closely with and provide support to Administration Leads in each port, who are responsible for face-to-face interactions with labour at their operation
  • Maintain health and safety, regulatory and compliance standards in all activities

About you:

  • 2+ years in administration of port operations and/or logistics operations, with teamwork experience gained in New Zealand
  • Proven ability to communicate with, organise and allocate staff for operations, implement strategies and continuously self-improve
  • Proficiency in all company systems and software utilising both verbal and written communication by radio, tablet, mobile and other necessary devices
  • Understanding of NZ logistics landscape and the infrastructure challenges to deliver cost-effective solutions for customers
