Wairakei Primary School is a Year 0–6 school just north of Taupō — rural enough that whānau know the staff, close enough to town that the commute is nothing. Teachers here are trusted with their classrooms and supported in them: real induction, colleagues who share their planning, and leaders who would rather you asked the question than guessed.

- Roles are based on site at the school, 2 Kauri Drive, Wairakei, Taupō.
- Many support roles are term-time only.
- School roles are children’s worker roles. Appointment and start are subject to a satisfactory safety check, including a New Zealand Police vet, under the Children’s Act 2014.
