Kitchen Attendant

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Attendant to join our team. As a Kitchen Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This position is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly
• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify management when restocking is required
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when necessary
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
