Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a full-stack engineering team and guide the development of features and infrastructure across both web and mobile.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap.
• Work closely with product and operations teams and company leaders to ensure the technology platform is evolving to meet business needs and keep pace with technology trends
• Ensure alignment with the key business stakeholders and effectively manage resources and remove obstacles to accomplish business goals
• Manage day-to-day operations of local and multiple offshore development teams
• Ensure that the entire team delivers software on-time and on-budget while maintaining a level of innovation required

Key Requirements

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields with strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, best to have mobile development and blockchain knowledge. Strong plus if also knows C++ and backend well
• 3+ years of professional engineering management experience
• 1+ years full-time experience in a blockchain-based project
• Programming experience and understanding of modern technology including: (ReactJS/React Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes, GCP, MongoDB, Docker)
• Experience managing cloud operations for reliability, scalability, and security in GCP/AWS
• Experience recruiting, hiring and onboarding engineering talent
• Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion
