The ideal candidate will be the architect behind sophisticated data applications, systems and services, blending software engineering expertise with a deep understanding of data solutions to drive tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Drive the improvement of internal processes by automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery and redesigning infrastructure for enhanced scalability.
• Develop the infrastructure needed for effective data extraction, transformation, and loading from a variety of sources.
• Enhance the performance of corporate data platforms and services to manage large data volumes and support real-time processing and analysis.
• Implement data quality checks and develop processes to identify and address data quality issues in corporate data.
• System Management: Oversee and manage systems and infrastructure, focusing on AWS. CI/CD Development: Build a continuous integration and deployment platform that integrates with existing development tools for quicker software delivery.
• Developer Experience: Improve the developer experience by facilitating cloud infrastructure development and application deployment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science / Data Engineering / Data Analyst or equivalent.
• Preferably 1-2 years relevant experiences in data engineering, working with data processing pipelines and databases on cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses and environments (AWS Redshift).
• Expertise with Python, SQL, ETL tools (Data 360, Airflow / Dagster), interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, application architecture, and deployment processes.
• Familiar with using CI/CD tooling, GitHub, JIRA and Slack.
