Job Description :

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Lead the full spectrum of HR functions which including payroll, compensation & benefit, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and learning and development programmes.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies align with the overall business strategy to meet the company’s expansion and growth.
  • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits plan to enhance the attraction and retention of employees.
  • Support employee development, engagement and retention programs.
  • Responsible for employee-related matters across the organization such as disciplinary action, grievances and etc.
  • Cultivate a positive work culture and environment, and recommend the necessary initiatives.
  • Support and advise Management with regards to Human Resource procedures, policies, best practices, performance review, employment rewards and benefits to align with the objectives and targets set by Management.
  • Oversee and ensure timely processing of payroll and full compliance with relevant government statutory requirements.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignment or duty assigned as and when required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field; with at least 5 to 8 years of working experience as a HR personnel.
  • 5-8 years of working experience.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Well versed in Malaysia employment law and regulation, stay current on changes in laws and regulations.
  • Detailed oriented and have the ability to multitask, good time management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving ability and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse co-workers.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, proactiveness, and result-oriented.
  • Possess knowledge Human Resources Management (HRM) Fundamentals.
