Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to accounting managers or senior accountants.
  • Responsible in updating client records, journals and ledgers, file financial records and important documentation, as well as identify and resolve errors in financial records.
  • To ensure daily accounts functions and dateline are met.
  • To ensure proper filling of accounts documentations and supporting documents.
  • To perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in accounting field.
  • Possess at least LCCI / Diploma in accounting.
  • Experience of using accounting software.
  • Must have extensive knowledge about financial statements and how they work. (i.e. Carry out bank reconciliation, receipt posting and balancing.)
  • Proficient in English & Mandarin.
  • Accuracy – Meeting the highest standard of accuracy.
  • Analytical skills – Ability to collect and analyze information, problem solving and make decisions.
  • Attention to detail – Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved.
  • Bookkeeping skills – Ability to record the financial events that take place in the company in accordance with the accounting principles.
  • Clear communication skills – Ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended.
  • Critical thinking – Ability to think in organized and rational manner in order to understand connections between ideas and/or facts.
  • Excel skills – Ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks.
  • Interpersonal skills – Ability to communicate, build relationships and work well with others.
  • Multitasking – Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others.
  • Organizational skills – Able to stay focused on different tasks, and use time, energy, strength, mental capacity, physical space, etc. effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Problem solving – Ability to solve problems in an effective and timely manner without any impediments.
  • Time management – Ability to use time productively and efficiently.
