RSGx is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to support our Australian construction projects from our WeWork office in Eco City, Kuala Lumpur. This prime location offers outstanding convenience—direct access to the LRT station, a shopping complex next door, and is situated next to MidCity, making it an ideal workplace for comfort and accessibility.
You will be responsible for the development, monitoring, and management of project schedules from pre-contract through to project completion, ensuring successful delivery against milestones. Your expertise in project planning will directly contribute to the performance, efficiency, and success of our Australian operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide earned value analysis and make informed project recommendations.
Guide the development of tender schedules, baseline project schedules, and reporting deliverables.
Review active project schedules to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities.
Offer expertise in delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Work with project managers and technical teams to define tasks, subtasks, and assignments.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritise and maintain quality.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective scheduling systems.
Coordinate timelines with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Monitor schedules and ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
Identify and address potential delays early, supporting timely project interventions.
Evaluate performance and generate progress and variance reports.
Update schedules to reflect changes and recommend corrective actions.
Keep stakeholders informed on schedules, key dates, and adjustments.
Maintain clear documentation and records of scheduling processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a project scheduler in a relevant industry.
High-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Proven track record in planning and managing complex project schedules.
Strong skills in progress evaluation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
