Description

Job Description

  • Lead Distribution System Asset Maintenance (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
  • Support Operations of Distribution system equipment (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
  • Substation Routine inspections and update maintenance record.
  • Received safety documents (Authorizations) from Operation Technician as required by Distribution Safety Rules
  • Cable Patrols and Cable Tracing
  • Supervise or perform cable testing, fault location, identification, and spiking.
  • Supervise or perform Cable Testing and Cable Fault Location
  • Supervise or perform Cable Identification and Cable Spiking
  • Battery maintenance
  • Customer Service calls and outage calls
  • Supervision of Service Contractors
  • Supervise commission & testing of capital and network reinforcement project.
  • Support Meter Technician duties where required.
  • Do standby duties.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Holds Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering (A0/A1/A4)
  • Holds Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of AO Competency or above
  • At least 5 years working experience in primary equipment or secondary
  • equipment maintenance, commission and testing.
