About This Role:

As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for truly understanding clients’ needs and discovering whether a business can meet those needs. You will help us administer a team to ensure Accounting Superhero’s services are delivered timely, on budget and complement to client’s standards and expectations.

You will work closely with the Operations and Fulfillment team in assisting clients to understand the well-being of their current financial state as well as consistently adhere to project deadlines laid out by clients. As the backbone of the Accounting department, you will help to manage clients’ books, meet clients’ presumptions and proactively work to ensure clients’ satisfaction and retention.

You Will Work On:

  • Administering a team to ensure Accounting Superhero’s services are delivered timely, on budget and complement to client’s standards and expectations.
  • Assisting clients to understand the well-being of their current financial state and consistently adhere to project deadlines laid out by clients.
  • Managing client’s books, meeting client’s presumptions and proactively working to ensure client’s satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full sets of accounts.
  • Review client’s financial accounts maintained by accounts assistants and clients.
  • Assist in managing clients’ accounting deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients and auditors in preparation of clients’ financial accounts.
  • Preparation of audit schedules.
  • Preparation of tax computation.
  • Prepare accounting schedule for audit and FS preparation.
  • Liaise with auditors / FS prepares on client accounts.
  • Ensure accounting deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring clients GL and schedules are prepared accordingly.
  • GST preparation and submission.
  • Prepare FS and assist in audit when necessary.
  • Train and mentor Accounts Assistants and Interns.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Accounting Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate / Professional
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, ACCA preferred
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferable Junior Executive specialised in Financial Accounting – Audit / Taxation or equivalent
  • Fresh grads are welcomed to apply – may be considered for Accounts Assistants positions if they lack the necessary experience.
