About the Role
This national role will lead Hampshire’s events, activations, and partnership strategy across New Zealand. You’ll develop commercially focused experiences that increase occupancy, strengthen our brand, and create memorable guest experiences.
Working closely with park teams, marketing, revenue, and operations, you’ll identify opportunities to attract new audiences, build strategic partnerships, and deliver events that support business growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and deliver Hampshire’s events and activations strategy.
- Build and manage a national events calendar.
- Drive occupancy and revenue through events and promotional initiatives.
- Establish partnerships with tourism organisations, councils, sponsors, and event organisers.
- Lead event planning and delivery across the Hampshire portfolio.
- Monitor performance, ROI, and guest engagement outcomes.
- Work with marketing teams to promote events and activations.
What We’re Looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in events, tourism, hospitality, partnerships, or a related field.
- Proven success delivering commercial events and activations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on performance.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
