The opportunity

We’re looking for an inspiring, values-driven Career Coach to join our team in South East Queensland. This fixed-term role (to 30 June, with potential extension) is your chance to lead, guide, and empower the next generation of care sector professionals.

You’ll be at the heart of trainee success: building relationships, coaching individuals, and supporting host employers to create thriving learning environments. Every day is dynamic, purposeful, and impactful.

What you will do

• Mentor and coach trainees to develop skills and confidence

• Support host employers to create positive, safe learning environments

• Monitor trainee performance, provide feedback, and intervene early when needed

• Build strong partnerships with RTOs, TAFEs, schools, and employers

• Deliver engaging training and inductions

• Maintain accurate records, track progress and ensure compliance with policies and standards

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

About you

• Experience or qualifications in coaching, people management, employment services, supporting young people or similar

• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills

• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Positive, patient, strengths-based approach

• Familiarity with Vocational Education & Training is a huge plus

• Valid driver’s license and transport for site visits
