Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team in Singapore. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges

- Analyze existing business processes, workflows, systems, and documentation for potential areas of improvement or optimization

- Conduct thorough research on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends related to IT systems analysis

- Gather requirements from key stakeholders by conducting interviews, workshops or surveys as necessary

- Develop detailed business requirements documentation including functional specifications for new projects or system enhancements

- Work closely with developers throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) ensuring that deliverables meet specified requirements

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test plans/cases/scenarios/scripts; facilitate UAT sessions; manage defect tracking/resolution process

- Provide training sessions/demonstrations on new applications/system functionalities as required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an IT environment.

- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.

- Proficiency in data modeling techniques/tools.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is a plus.

- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred but not mandatory.
