About your new role:

In this role, a diesel mechanic is responsible for:

Field service, equipment servicing and maintenance
Assisting with yard operations
Performing routine maintenance and repair of equipment, including on piling equipment, power packs, and other related machinery
Assisting with yard operations, including product and equipment movement, loading, and unloading
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and make necessary repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, identify potential problems, and address them before they become major issues
Follow all safety procedures and protocols, and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and other equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available
Workshop management (applies to Service Manager role only)

What you'll need to succeed:

Relevant trade qualification
Flexibility to travel to customer sites
Previous experience working on related equipment is preferred
A current driver’s license
Able to communicate effectively with customers and team
Forklift license (or willing to obtain)
