Telcospec is a dynamic utility infrastructure group specialising in the installation of fibre optic networks and working on communications infrastructure projects nationwide.

We are looking for someone to join our team asap who will add extra horsepower, knowledge and skills to our group who doesn’t mind a bit of hard work and getting their hands dirty.

As a TelcoSpec crew member, you will support our team in the installation and maintenance of communications networks across the nation. This role offers ample working hours, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to work at various locations throughout the country.

Whether you are an experienced OSP Tech, a Linesman or have experience with communications Network Construction in the Road or Rail environments and would like a great opportunity to join a fantastic team we’d like to hear from you.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertaking communications industry tasks based around outside plant infrastructure.

• Be punctual and flexible with work locations.

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety at work and when observing others in the workplace.

• Contribute to a positive team culture.

Valuable Skills:

• NZ Class 1 & 2 full drivers licence .

• First Aid Certificate.

• Experience working on major Utility networks .

• Be medically fit to work at height, confined spaces and physically demanding environments.

• Experience in working in the rail environment.

• Knowledge and/or experience with overhead or underground utility networks -Civil Construction or Technical.

• It is a requirement that all applicants are eligible to live and work in New Zealand.

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing mandatory.

• Successful applicants will be comfortable working away from home routinely.
