We are looking for a passionate Baker to join our Chatswood team on a casual basis. Roles & Responsibilities

Perform daily production, baking, and preparation of bakery products according to established standards
Maintain the quality of food products and ensure consistency in food delivery and standards
Create baked goods by following set recipes and ensuring adherence to the production numbers schedule
Ensure productivity and efficiency in the kitchen is consistently maintained to achieve set daily production schedules
Ensure high product standards and cost-effective operations by efficiently managing resources
Aim to proactively identify and mitigate potential sources of wastage in production, use seasonality produce
Maintain the bakery at the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation
Ensure the bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.
Adhere to safety and health regulations in their section of the kitchen, promoting a safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

2 years experience as Pastry chef, baker or chef
Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
Commercial cooking/ pastry qualification or a reasonable amount of prior experience
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
NSW FSS (Food Safety Supervisor) Certificate
Further your skills with professional development within an industry leading venue
