The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer, Property Paralegal or Property Lawyer with at least 1 year of experience in conveyancing and/or property law to join our Commercial and Property team. You will be responsible for delivering prompt, personalised, and high-quality conveyancing services in alignment with Nevett Ford’s performance standards and values.

Key Responsibilities

Manage conveyancing files from start to finish with limited supervision (although supervision is available).
Handle diary and file management including managing critical dates and conditions.
Prepare and review contracts.
Conduct and interpret relevant searches.
Prepare necessary forms and documents.
Organize settlements.
Liaise with clients and third parties – particularly banks and government offices.
Maintain files and perform other administrative tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of experience as a conveyancing clerk or in a property law role.
Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated knowledge of conveyancing requirements including ARNECC, SRO procedures and experience using PEXA and/or conveyancing software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
