The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) is a national charitable organization that works to better human health by protecting the planet. We seek to understand how the environment affects human health and communicate this knowledge to supporters, the public, and policymakers to drive meaningful change. CAPE mobilizes the credible voice of physicians, science, and evidence to address the ecological and climate crises and accelerate progress toward a just, equitable, and healthier future. At CAPE, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within our community. We recognize that Indigenous and racialized peoples, as well as people with disabilities, are disproportionately affected by climate change and environmental hazards.
