General Responsibilities
As part of our team, your role will be to inspire learning both in and outside the classroom. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
Catering to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
Using a range of assessment strategies to support student success.
Maintaining accurate records, writing student reports, and attending parent-teacher interviews.
Participating in school meetings, professional development, and supervisory duties.
Key Selection Criteria
Qualifications
Bachelor of Education Primary, Secondary, or relevant field (minimum).
Registration
VIT registration or eligibility to obtain it
Compliance
A valid Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Experience
Expertise in your subject area; EAL qualifications preferred for some positions.
Skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Commitment
A proactive team player who supports the College’s mission and culture.
First Aid
Current First Aid certification
References
Provide 3 referees who can attest to your experience and alignment with the key selection criteria.
