Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the accounting department in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

Accounting:

Raising invoices by agreed terms.
Preparing Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable on a timely basis
Reminder emails to clients for receivables
Helping with Payroll Tax report month on month basis
Review the Business Activity statement, including GST Reconciliation
Work on the yearend process.
Help with the budget process as needed.
Managing the inter-company allocation
Responsible for accurate data entry, providing systems reports and documentation.
Monitoring Documentation and maintaining it on share point and Smart Sheet portal
Bookkeeping data entry. Examine bank statements and reconcile them.
Prepare, enter, and post journal entries.
Maintaining another portal

Reporting:

Cashflow forecasting:

Assisting in gathering information from the System
Month-on-month check & review of the report.

Management Reports

Accounts Reviews and checked with intercompany allocations.
Assisting in preparing various reports by gathering information
Helping with actual to budget report month-end reporting

Revenue Report:

Extract data and prepare draft report month on month for Revenue.

Other Report: as required on a weekly or monthly basis.

Qualifications and Skills

Master's degree in accounting or related field
2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with Xero is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
A positive attitude with the flexibility to take on additional tasks
Strong communication skills and time management
