At Embrace, we are driven by our mission to tackle poverty and injustice in the Middle East. Inspired by our Christian faith, our vision of faith, hope and love in action is at the heart of what we do. Where there is a need for refuge, for a home however temporary, for education, for safeguarding, for economic empowerment, for justice and human rights, we, with our partners, respond.
Since 1854, Embrace the Middle East has been serving some of the most marginalised and excluded communities (of all faiths and none) in the Middle East. We support, enable and partner with Christians in the Middle East as they work to transform lives and restore dignity through: Education, Healthcare and Community Development programmes.
Without our staff, this life-changing work simply wouldn’t be possible.
We are a tight knit team of talented, driven people committed to bringing our vision of faith, hope and love in to action. We hold ourselves mutually accountable to work collaboratively, and in accordance with our values – compassion, integrity, trust and respect. We care about what we do. We care about each other. We go the extra mile. We are resilient, as well as flexible; passionate, as well as professional. Embrace means a great deal to us. Our partners inspire us every day. We strive to do everything well, whilst enjoying everything we do.
Working together to help people free themselves from a life of poverty and injustice is hugely rewarding and satisfying. We also appreciate the importance of providing our staff with flexible working arrangements, opportunities to develop, and employee benefits that recognise their valuable contribution to Embrace’s mission.
