About the role

The main responsibility of the Weighbridge Administratoris operating the weighbridge at our Clayton yard. It will involve weighing and coordination of all incoming and outgoing materials and vehicles at the site. .

We require an individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with our diverse client base and internal team. If you have an eye for detail, sound numerical skills and great computer literacy, this role is for you!

The role works closely with drivers, customer, the HSR and plant operators.

* Customer service experience, cash handling and credit card processing

* Proficient computer knowledge

* Be able to work autonomously & problem solve

* Be reliable, responsible and hard working

* High attention to detail and can learn new skills quickly

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment

Preferable attributes

Weighbridge operating experience within a similar environment (preferable)

The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant who will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. In joining the leadership team, you will contribute to the company’s financial success through financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, statutory reporting and risk management.

• Manage month end reporting processes in a timely manner
• Manage the accounts payable and account receivable functions
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
• Manage all statutory compliance and taxation matters

To be successful in the role you will need to enjoy operating at both a strategic and hands on level and you can expect lots of variety – no two days are the same!

About you

• Expert level in Microsoft excel and other accounting software
• Attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, hands on approach
• You enjoy being accountable with a “can do” attitude
• Finance related degree with a professional qualification (CPA or CA)
