Description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Front of House / Administrator to join our health centre team. This casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills, and is comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception Duties: Greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, and managing appointments.
  • Records Management: Maintaining accurate patient records and managing documentation in line with privacy requirements.
  • Billing & Payments: Processing payments, issuing receipts, claiming and reconciling daily transactions.
  • Clerical Support: Typing, data entry, photocopying, scanning and assisting clinical staff with administrative tasks.
  • Stock & Supplies: Monitoring, ordering, and recording office and medical supplies.
  • Compliance: Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to health and safety, infection control, and data protection protocols.

About You

  • Previous experience in reception, administration, or a healthcare environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Confident with computer systems and data entry.
  • A proactive team player with strong attention to detail.

Role Details

  • Salary: $44 per hour.
  • Shifts: Saturdays or Sundays — 8:45am to 1:00pm, or 8:45am to 5:00pm.
  • Contract Type: Casual (approximately one shift per fortnight, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts). More regular shifts will be available during the training period.
  • Ad Duration: This position will be advertised for 3 weeks.
