About our role

Working within a large housekeeping team positioned on the pristine Te Arai coastline, you will be looking after the lodgings that operate as accommodation for both members and guests, enhancing their experience.

Our unique role will cover a range of accommodation at Te Arai Links Golf Club accommodation meaning a huge amount of variety in the role. We are looking for a housekeeping attendant/laundry superstar! 

This role will be predominantly based in the laundry with occasional work in the rooms and villas.

About you

Along with your passion for service, and knowledge of hotel laundry work, you will bring exceptional team working capability and a love for the finer details.

Other attributes that would contribute to your success would include:

• Experience in the high-end, luxury service industry
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as on your own
• Experience and knowledge in the care and maintenance of luxury surfaces and materials is beneficial, however training will be provided
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends/public holidays
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment would be beneficial
• Comfortable with lifting heavy loads of laundry (up to 25kg)
• Clean, service and maintain all guest accommodation areas and public spaces to a high standard, including routine cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
• Deliver friendly, professional and detail-oriented service, responding promptly and courteously to guest requests while respecting guest privacy and property.
• Perform a wide range of housekeeping duties, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, steam cleaning, stain removal, rubbish removal, and cleaning of windows and glass surfaces.
• Collect, sort, wash, dry and iron linen and laundry items, ensuring all rooms are stocked and presented to company standards.
