Warehouse Assistant – Creative Technology, Auckland

You will have the desire to work within the Live Events and Broadcast industries to build your experience by joining our vibrant team based at the Avondale warehouse location in Auckland.  

This full-time role is focused on general warehouse duties that support the various live events and broadcasting projects that the business undertakes. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to familiarise themselves with our equipment and systems inventory processes. We view this position as the first step to progression over time in our warehouse support team and is integral to the successful delivery of the varying scale of projects that we deliver.

Essential criteria to be a successful applicant are:

• Driver’s license

• Self-motivated & team oriented

• Willingness to learn and look for leadership and guidance

• Ability to demonstrate technical thinking and aptitude

• Flexible attitude towards work hours

• Reliable & well presented

• Physically fit for lifting and related work

• High attention to detail

Desired criteria include:

• Basic IT skills including inventory management systems.

• Working experience in a warehousing operations setting, preferably within the live events industry

• Class 2 Truck Drivers Licence

Industry- based training will be arranged to provide further licenses and accreditations, where required. This is a role with a future – if you have the drive to learn the basics and desire to work in live events and broadcasting, you will earn the opportunity to become more deeply involved in Creative Technology’s provision of professional event services over time.
