He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
You will gain exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, working alongside an experienced HR Recruitment Manager. You will provide administrative support with advertising, phone screening and assisting both applicants and hiring managers through this process. Keeping applicants engaged and informed, ensuring all pre-employment checks and documentation are completed and accurate.

You are highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are empathetic, proactive, and open to working in a multicultural environment. You always operate with high integrity and absolute discretion; you can be trusted to handle sensitive applicants’ information with the strictest level of confidentiality.
What you will need for this role:
- Previous experience in recruitment administration is essential
- Ideally, you will have some proficiency in Te Reo Māori and knowledge of tikanga Māori
- A professional and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and have initiative
- Fully conversant with all Microsoft applications (Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Commitment and ability to apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
