JFC is a family-founded New Zealand civil contractor delivering earthworks, three-waters, streetscapes, structures, rail and marine works for public and private clients. Our certified Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001) underpins how we deliver. We’re looking for a quality leader to own it, keeping it certified, practical and genuinely used on every site.

What you’ll be doing:

You will own the system that ensures JFC’s work is completed right first time, across every division and every project from Auckland to Wellington.

• Maintain and continually improve our ISO 9001 certified Integrated Management System
• Plan and run the internal audit programme; lead external certification and client audits
• Drive nonconformance management, root-cause analysis and trend reporting across all divisions
• Support project teams with Quality Management Plans, ITPs and QA records
• Own document control across the management system
• Report quality KPIs and prepare inputs for management review
• Coach our people, from graduates to Contract Managers, on quality expectations

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes to succeed in this position:

• 5+ years in quality management in civil construction or infrastructure
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, or working towards it
• Hands-on knowledge of NZS 3910 contracts, ITPs and site QA
• Experience running ISO-based systems across multiple sites or regions
• The credibility to influence from the site office to the boardroom
• Strong digital skills: SharePoint and QHSE platforms
• Full NZ driver licence and readiness to travel between regions
