Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Executive Chef and Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and quality
  • Supervising and training junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped
  • Contributing to the development of new recipes and menu items, incorporating feedback from guests and staff
  • Managing kitchen operations during busy service periods, ensuring timely and efficient service

You will bring:

  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume or luxury environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent culinary skills with genuine passion for food and creativity
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide the kitchen team
  • Reliability and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
