Reporting to the Group Safety, Health and Environmental Director, you will be responsible for the implementation, compliance and control of group health and safety.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional who can manage, maintain and develop group wide site standards. You will be focussing on compliance and understanding of CDM legislation, monitoring sites and issuing notices as required, ensuring continuous improvement on all our sites.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Health, Safety and Environmental training to site teams. Including any required induction training for new starters.

Instructing Construction Managers on site standards and health and safety issues issuing notices as appropriate

Carrying out accident / incident investigations and site inspections

Assist on safety file management

Signing off initial site set up

Approving Construction phase plans

Give training to site teams on RAMS and CPP compliance

You will be minimum of a NEBOSH certificate, with an excellent understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental and be able to demonstrate at least 1 year of CDM experience. A CDM qualification would be an advantage, you would also ideally be a member of IOSH and have experience gained in a commercial interiors work environment.

You will be self-motivated, and show a high level of competence in managing health and safety on site. Mental health first aid qualification would be useful.
