At Pure South Dining, our philosophy, Ethical, Sustainable, Provenance is at the heart of everything we do.
We pride ourselves on offering exceptional quality, made possible through our strong relationships with farmers, fishermen, and producers from Tasmania, including King Island. Some of these relationships have been ongoing since our first day over 20 years ago, reenforcing our commitment to generations of farming knowledge from the people dedicated to the lands.
Our Southbank location features two distinct venues, Pure South Kitchen & the Pure South Dining Room. Pure South Kitchen is our all-day bistro on the Southbank Promenade, offering breakfast through to late night drinks.
The first-floor Pure South Dining Room welcomes our guests to relaxed, yet sophisticated space overlooking the Yarra River. The refined menu in the dining room, pays homage to our Tasmanian Family and the produce they send us daily. The extensive wine list featuring some 400 bottles, centred around award winning vineyards from Tasmania and around the world, further adds to the experience of Pure South Dining.

Our team shares decades of experience in some of the top venues around Australia & the world. Our chefs have worked in some of the best kitchens, including Michelin star restaurants. The front of house leaders come from award winning venues, some with 20+ years of hospitality experience.
