As a Senior Logistics Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading the solution and implementing logistics solutions in automated and non automated distribution centres. You will be responsible working with our clients to provide efficient, effective and safe warehouse solutions, that utilise the latest technology.

Your expertise in intralogistics solutions, enterprise systems and operations in large complex supply chain environments will enable us to deliver customer centric, scalable, and impactful solutions to our clients.

This role includes but is not limited to the following:

TASKS

• Support of sales team during scoping phase by ensuring solutions meet the client's business objectives

Providing business insights to customers to assist them on the change management required to move to automated solutions

• Definition of supply chain processes with customer, with a focus on warehousing

• Analysing customers business requirement documentation or working with the client to establish business requirements

• Creation of operational process flows

Creation of functional design documents and scoping statements

• Creation of design documents including interface design documents

• Assessment of work packages (tasks)

• Quantitative analysis

• Support of project management in relation to technical details

• Ability to scope testing including creation of test plans

• Ability to create training materials and operational procedures

• Optimisation of customer warehouse solutions and end to end supply chain

• Feedback loop to product management

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain or Engineering.

• Proven experience in large and complex supply chain projects

Experience consulting and integration, preferably in warehouse management systems (WMS), or related software e.g. ERP, WCS or Manufacturing

• Proven experience in consulting or leadership roles in supply chain, minimum 10 years

• Experience in software development lifecycle, including testing

• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse automation is mandatory

• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.

• Experience in process re-engineering, lean six sigma or business transformations is desirable

TRAVEL REQUIRED

• Moderate level of travel is required
