Job Title:

Medical Administrator with a view to senior career progression in Health Management.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering 8 hour a day work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and likely some future earlies/evening and weekend flexible commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients upon arrival and efficiently check them in.

- Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments both over the phone and in person.

- Handle invoicing and collection of fees from patients.

- Ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliations and maintain a welcoming efficient tidy reception area.

- Perform tasks including medical secretarial work, chasing and replying to emails, specialist letters and software database searches, processing and some disease coding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in health administration with a focus on customer service.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse work environment.

- Compassion for people

- Familiarity with MyPractice software is desirable; training will be provided.

- Excellent computer skills with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
