AGPN has existed since the mid 90’s as a representative body for general practitioners in Australia. We were the national body for the divisions of general practice until a change to local medicare networks in the early 2010s. Since then we have continued to operate as a not for profit advocating for general practice and as a health promotion charity focusing on working with GPs to prevent disease
