The State of Wellbeing at Work Report 2024

Published

I’m stressed! You’re stressed! Turns out we’re all stressed – or a statistically significant proportion of our Great British workforce is, anyways.

We asked 1020 workers across the UK, from Belfast to Bromley, Essex to Edinburgh, to take part in our survey on the state of wellbeing at work right now. From Gen Z to Boomers, boardroom to entry level, the results were revealing.

The results are essential reading for anyone running a business in 2024. They paint a clear picture on what are the common root causes of stress at work, how the pressure of work is taking its toll and how workers feel about their work life balance.

In The State of Wellbeing at Work Report we cover;

  • Burnout and stress – the headlines you can’t ignore;
  • The price of overworking – the impact of mental health on work and productivity;
  • Financial wellbeing – how Brits are holding up in a cost of living crisis;
  • How employees perceive wellbeing provision where they work;
  • Breaking the silence – why talking about mental health at work is still tough;
  • What workers are looking for – the perks that work;

Methodology and sample profile

Our results are taken from a survey we carried out using the QuestionPro platform back in April (12 April to 1 May 2024, to be precise). We asked 1020 folks, all based in the UK, how they felt about their workplace wellbeing – it was an online-only questionnaire which took on average 10 minutes to complete.
