The Future of Work:
Gen Z.

A broad conversation about the changing face of work and what the new generational cohort will mean for Australian businesses.

Gen Z is ready to get to work, but is the workforce ready for them? Young Australians are entering the workforce - and then leaving again - quickly. As we speak, 30% of Gen Z workers are looking for a new job.

It won’t be long until Gen Z is the dominant generation in the workforce with the most potential for productivity. For businesses to thrive, workplace cultures must adapt. The workforce is not stagnant. As generational attitudes and needs change, the workforce has always changed with them. Seventy years ago, an influx of working women changed the shape of business. Forty years ago, computers radically changed how we worked. Twenty years ago, flexible working arrangements began to grow in popularity. And now, Gen Z demands further change.

You’ll hear from some of the best in the people biz:

  • Adam Jacobs, Co-founder at THE ICONIC and co-founder at Hatch
  • Alex Hattingh, Chief People Officer at Employment Hero
  • Andrea Culligan, Consulting Partner - Monitor Deloitte at Deloitte Australia
  • Michael Osmond, People and Culture Manager at JobAdder

If business owners and HR professionals want to attract and retain the highest quality of Gen Z employees, understanding their needs and desires is the first step to success. It’s time to start an insight-driven conversation about the future of work.

After the panel discussion, our expert speakers will answer your burning questions and there’ll even be time for networking and nibbles.
