What’s happening in
your region
Australia
Over the past 12 months, employment has grown consistently, between 5% and 7% YoY. July 2025 saw a slight softening from previous months, yet growth remained strong at 5.8%.
United Kingdom
UK employment is still moving in the right direction: up 3.1% YoY. Momentum has, however, faded considerably compared with 2024.
New Zealand
After a sharp and steady decline through 2024, employment growth in New Zealand has stabilised.
Canada
One-third of Canadians working full-time are holding down multiple jobs, raising questions about whether “full-time” still guarantees financial security.
