About the role
The Coordinator
Registrant Quality plays a key role in supporting the delivery of regulatory
functions by providing accurate, timely, and high-quality administrative and
coordination support.
This is a varied
and detail-focused role working closely with the Registration Quality Manager,
Nurse Advisors, and wider team. You will support core regulatory processes
including nurse practitioner activities, prescribing authorisations, and
reporting, ensuring that systems, data, and communications are maintained to a
high standard.
Your work will
directly contribute to the Council’s ability to meet its statutory obligations
and maintain public safety.
Key aspects of
the role include:
- Coordinating administrative processes across multiple workstreams
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace and support the Council’s
commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitang
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and databases (including
iMIS)
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Supporting nurse practitioner and authorisation processes
- Responding to stakeholder enquiries and ensuring timely
communication
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and ways of working
- Collaborating across the team and providing cover where needed
About you
You are an experienced administrator or coordinator who thrives in a
structured, process-driven environment and takes pride in delivering accurate,
high-quality work. You’re confident working across multiple priorities,
maintaining detailed records, and supporting complex processes with care and
professionalism.
You bring a strong service mindset and build positive relationships
with colleagues and stakeholders. You approach your work with initiative and
sound judgement, and you are comfortable identifying opportunities to improve
systems and ways of working.
In particular, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or coordinator role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple
workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including
drafting correspondence
- Confidence working with systems, including Microsoft Office and
database platforms (e.g. iMIS)
- A proactive approach to improving processes and maintaining high
standards
- A collaborative, positive attitude with a willingness to support
the wider team
You are organised, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine willingness
to learn and grow. You are also committed to building your cultural capability
and supporting the Council’s commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
