About the role 

We’re on the lookout for a Producer to join our talented studio team.  This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys being involved in every stage of the production process—from initial briefing and budgeting through to shoot execution and final delivery.

Working closely with our clients and wider production team, you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of photography projects—from briefing, budgeting and pre-production through to shoot coordination, approvals, digital asset development and final delivery.

Supporting the Senior Producer, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and smooth running of shoots, helping manage timelines, stakeholders, forecasting, budgets and on-set activity. You’ll be someone who is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple moving parts while keeping projects on track and teams connected.


You’ll be responsible for

Reporting to the Senior Producer, some (but not all) of the role’s responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the senior producer with keeping projects on schedule and liaising with post-production where required.
  • Supporting the senior producer in providing resources for talent, stylists, set builders, photo assistants and relevant crew  to achieve the desired result. 
  • Maintaining project budgets and estimating utilising negotiation skills. 
  • Maintaining and organising incoming billings, receipts vendor, and independent contractor invoices.
  • Working autonomously across projects and managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfortable working across tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and Slack
  • General studio administration and support.


Experience, skills, and expertise

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • 4+ years of experience in a design, photography or advertising agency, within a creative or studio environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams across concurrent projects.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

If you were here in the last month you may have:

  • Coordinated shoot logistics, schedules and suppliers to keep multiple projects running smoothly at the same time.
  • Juggled multiple projects, approvals and stakeholder requests while keeping everything on track behind the scenes.
  • Worked closely with the Senior Producer on budgets, forecasting and pre-production planning for upcoming shoots.
  • Joined the team on our rooftop deck for one of our agency celebrations.
  • Spent time exploring the cool cafes and restaurants in South Melbourne with your colleagues.
