About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources & Compliance Advisor to lead and deliver HR, compliance, and organisational development initiatives across our WA operations. This pivotal role ensures the consistent application of HR policies, systems, and compliance frameworks that support a high-performing, values-driven workforce.

This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is based on site at Belmont WA.

Key Accountabilities are but not limited to –

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Manage HR operations including payroll, documentation, and compliance systems.
  • Support performance frameworks, professional development, and conduct matters.
  • Lead training and development initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Handle employee relations, industrial relations, and workers’ compensation processes.
  • Monitor compliance with employment legislation and support internal audits.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic people initiatives and cultural programs.
  • Monitor legislative adherence across WA operations
  • Support internal audits
  • Coordinate Workplace Health and Safety training and accreditation as required

What you will bring –

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or commensurate experience
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR or People & Culture Advisor role, ideally in transport, logistics, or manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (Employment Hero experience will be highly regarded)
  • Deep understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices
  • Diverse approach to people management with a ‘think outside the box’ mindset
  • Demonstrated experience in Performance Management and payroll processes
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for people and innovation
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally is required for this role
