Business Analyst

We are looking to engage the services of an experienced Business Analyst to work for our federal government client. Successful candidates must be Australian citizens currently with an active AGSVA security clearance (Baseline) or above. This role supports the departments major work programs through high-quality business analysis services that align stakeholder needs with modern ICT capabilities. You will play a central role in driving change and contributing to Australia’s leading-edge digital government services. Here are some of the duties you will perform – Define business needs and develop actionable plans or business cases. – Gather, analyse, and validate stakeholder requirements. – Apply structured business analysis frameworks and communication strategies. – Assess current business processes and recommend improvement opportunities. – Lead stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration. – Develop and manage requirement traceability and supporting documentation. – Produce and review BA artefacts including risk assessments, scope models, and diagrams. – Facilitate elicitation activities such as workshops, interviews, and prototyping. – Prioritise and verify business requirements; manage dependencies and approval workflows. – Collaborate with delivery teams on scope, testing, and quality assurance activities. What makes you a great fit? – Proficient in business analysis techniques, tools, and formal documentation methods. – Familiarity with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). – Experience working with enterprise business systems and digital platforms. – Must have Baseline clearance or above to apply for the role.
