The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billings Officer to join our Platform Operations team. In this role, you will manage the monthly and daily fee run process, ensuring billing accuracy through detailed reconciliation and comparison of data. This is not a system generated process, and every day is different, so the role requires focus and excellent data skills.
The role will require the ability to understand the many services agreements and product offerings available and interpret and then debit the correct fee rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile all fee data and bank payment files
- Ensure fees align with PDS and SLA requirements before debiting investor accounts
- Validate fee schedules and rates to ensure accurate fee calculations
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies due to system anomalies
- Finalise finance reports
- Manage billing queries
Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
- A tertiary business-related degree (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role that involves billings, preferably within the financial services sector
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and macros
- Understanding of SLAs and PDS, with the ability to apply these requirements to billing processes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and happy to undergo training for the first 6 months in the role
- Can-do-attitude, with an ability to work in a role that is not process driven
