The role of Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the technology landscape of our client’s organization, ensuring that IT systems and solutions align with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation. By providing strategic direction, technical expertise, and leadership, the Enterprise Architect contributes to the development and implementation of robust and scalable architecture solutions that drive the organization’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a collaborative, active and positive member of the Technology and Innovation as part of the Project Squad who operates in alignment with the organisations values (Here for Members, Empower our People, Anticipate and Create, Thrive Together).
  • Operates under the broad direction of the Program Manager and may be required to supervise other staff and/or external resources.
  • Develop and maintain the overall enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
  • Create and maintain architectural models, diagrams, and documentation to guide the design and implementation of IT systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, platforms, and tools to meet business needs and improve system performance.
  • Lead architecture reviews, ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring architectural consistency and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to system architecture and design.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead in line with client leadership expectations and role model Values.
  • Perform a range of day-to-day administrative duties and assist with other duties as required.

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP.
  • Significant data archtecture experience.
  • Experience with software and infrastructure design, development, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their integration with technology.
  • Expertise in architectural modeling and design tools.
  • Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, comprehension and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, data architecture or related roles.
  • 5 years of experience in software and infrastructure design and development.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, microservices, APIs, and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their integration with technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural modeling and design tools.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • 3 years of experience with cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
