Your Role

As the Assistant Park Manager, you’ll work closely with the Park Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the park. You’ll assist with everything from guest services, staff coordination and administration. When the Park Manager is on leave or rostered days off, you’ll step up to manage the park’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of park operations, including reception, housekeeping, grounds, and maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including managing bookings, responding to enquiries, and resolving guest concerns.
  • Support staff training and inductions.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, emergency procedures, and company policies.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in holiday park operations, hospitality, or similar (qualifications in Hospitality Management or related field desirable).
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
  • Well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical maintenance skills and willingness to “pitch in” across different areas of the park.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and reservation/property management systems.
  • Current driver’s licence (First Aid Certificate and National Police Check desirable).
