Senior International Programmes Service Specialist – Producing Office (Technical Consultant)
This is a senior servicing role within the Producing Office team and will suit someone with strong multinational programme experience, excellent stakeholder management capability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting the delivery and ongoing management of international insurance programmes, while also acting as a senior point of contact within the team and contributing to operational excellence across the function.
Working closely with Underwriters, the Regional Service Delivery Manager, brokers, clients and international network partners, this role requires a highly organised individual with strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership capability through their approach, initiative, collaboration and ability to support and guide others within the team.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Day-to-day management and servicing of international insurance programmes, including ownership of medium-sized account portfolios and involvement in larger, more complex multinational accounts;
- Managing programme renewals, implementation activities and ongoing servicing requirements across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring high service standards are maintained;
- Providing technical and operational support to Underwriters, brokers, Market Managers and other stakeholders regarding programme structures, compliant solutions, country capabilities, network costs and local policy requirements;
- Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager and underwriting teams in the development, implementation and coordination of programme structures for new and existing business opportunities;
- Coordinating with international network partners to ensure timely issuance of local policies, endorsements and programme documentation;
- Monitoring programme activity, tracking deliverables and ensuring all servicing and compliance requirements are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes;
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, clients and international partners to support effective programme delivery and client service outcomes;
- Assisting with premium payment follow-up and coordinating with brokers and network insurers to resolve outstanding matters efficiently;
- Participating in broker and client meetings alongside Underwriters to support relationship management, programme discussions and new business opportunities;
- Reviewing, preparing and maintaining accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders while ensuring adherence to company procedures, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements;
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of operational processes, workflows and servicing standards within the International Programmes function;
- Acting as a senior point of support within the team by sharing knowledge and contributing positively to team capability and culture;
- Coordinating and supporting training sessions, presentations and educational initiatives for brokers, clients and internal stakeholders regarding International Programmes capabilities and solutions;
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and stakeholder experience across the programme management process;
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience within insurance ideally within multinational programmes, underwriting support or a client servicing role;
- Previous experience working with international insurance programmes or multinational servicing functions will be highly regarded;
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and review complex information accurately and efficiently;
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability and ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven ability to learn and work effectively across multiple systems, databases and technology platforms;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel;
- Positive attitude, collaborative working style and ability to contribute to a high-performing team environment;
- Demonstrated leadership capability through initiative, accountability, stakeholder management and support of team outcomes;
