📍 Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensary Technician | Full or Part Time | Meadowbrook Discount Drug Store
We are looking for motivated Dispensary Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants to join our busy, community-focused pharmacy in Meadowbrook, Queensland.
About the roles:
In the Dispensary Technician role, you will work primarily at the dispensary back counter, supporting the scripts in/scripts out process. You will work closely with Pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient supply of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. This role involves accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, providing accurate and helpful information to customers and healthcare professionals, and contributing to a high standard of efficient, professional, and friendly customer service.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and supporting health and wellness needs. This role involves providing product advice, processing sales, maintaining store presentation and stock levels, and assisting dispensary staff as required, all while working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
What we’re looking for:
For Dispensary Assistants:
- Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician (preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A customer-first attitude and genuine care for people’s wellbeing
- Reliability, honesty, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience with FRED Dispense or similar systems (desirable)
For Pharmacy Assistants:
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliability and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn about pharmacy products and health solutions
