The role

CCSG Legal is seeking for a talented individual to join our vibrant commercial litigation team, with strong technical knowledge of commercial debt recoveries. Get ready to dive into a range of engaging tasks and gain hands-on experience.
As an Associate (Commercial Recoveries), you will be responsible for leading key projects and delivering high-quality outcomes through specialised expertise. The role involves mentoring junior team members, fostering collaboration, and maintaining strong client relationships. Additionally, you will drive continuous process improvements to support the firm’s objectives.
We work on a hybrid working model (3 days in the office and 2 days at home) for a full-time employee.

Responsibilities
Here’s an example of your day to day:
- Drive business growth and client engagement through innovation and relationship-building;
- Ensure billable targets and KPIs are met by the team;
- Monitor and improve financial performance (revenue, billing rates, etc.);
- Manage complex legal matters and oversee case strategies;
- Mentor junior staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development;
- Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events;
- Provide training and support career progression for team members;
- Monitor team performance, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Requirements
Culture fit is key and we value both experience and qualities such as:
- 2-4 Years PQE in Commercial Recoveries.
- Expertise in Mercantile/debt recovery disputes.
- Extensive track record advising credit providers & non-bank lenders.
- Strong litigation background, including nationwide enforcement proceedings.
- Exposure in Banking & finance litigation (desirable).
Knowledge in PPSA (Personal Property Securities Act) enforcement and priority disputes (desirable).
