Typical days look like this:
- Repair and installations on customer equipment including laptops, PCs, servers, networking machines adhering with ASI’s internal standard operating procedures and knowledge base
- Configuration of desktop hardware, software and other devices
- Assembling PCs, monitors, and other equipment as necessary
- Working within our internal IT tracking systems, keeping jobs up to date in tickets
- Working on-site and in office as required.
A bit about you:
- Two or more years’ experience in providing support for desktop/store hardware infrastructure
- Proven track record on hardware, desktop environment, and interactive whiteboard administration and troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting experience extends to an understanding of manufacturer repairs isolating issues away from software and applications to hardware faults
- Familiarity with IT service desk ticketing tools and working within structured service level agreements, working with multiple projects on
- You are used to communicating at all levels and your verbal and written communication skills are your secret power
- You hold a valid driver’s licence, and willing to submit suitable background checks
