The Digital Director plays a pivotal role in shaping how we engage, inspire and activate audiences online.

Managing a team of three talented digital communicators, you will oversee our digital strategy and the creation of bold, high-performing content across social media and our website. You will be both strategic and hands-on, guiding digital storytelling and innovation that cuts through, grows our reach and deepens engagement.

At its heart, this role is about expanding the Climate Council’s digital influence, so our voice is visible, trusted and accessible to millions of Australians ready to act on climate change.

As the Digital Director of the Climate Council, you will:

  • Lead the Climate Council’s Digital Transformation Strategy, driving best-practice digital communications across all channels.
  • Be a digital face of the organisation: fronting, shaping and overseeing social media content that reflects our voice, values and impact.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing Digital Team, fostering collaboration, creativity and innovation.
  • Use data, insights and analytics to guide decision-making and evaluate performance.
  • Build and manage strategic digital partnerships that amplify our reach and influence across Australia.
  • Be an excellent organiser and project manager, with the ability to coordinate work, manage competing priorities and deliver to standard.
