Ace Hotel Sydney, NSW is our first-ever spot in Australia, inhabiting an historic building set in the verve of Surry Hills. Inspired by the neighborhood’s vibrant rhythm, Ace Sydney is home to a bustling public Lobby alive nearly nightly with DJs and performers, a rebellious art program and sunken lounge just off the Lobby bar. We’ve also got three distinct restaurants led by award-winning culinary pros.

The Gig

Front Office staff will provide an all-round memorable experience to guests in a welcoming and fun environment.

In this role you understand and exceed guest expectations – whether welcoming VIPs, giving advice on the best local activities, or helping a guest choose a music record for their room.

  • Working a rotating roster of mornings, evenings & overnights, including weekends.
  • Anticipating guest needs and delivering amazing service when responding to guest requests.
  • Ensuring all guests are warmly welcomed during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • Managing data through the booking system.
  • Proactively offering assistance with luggage & transport services.
  • Communicating and liaising with various staff on all levels and understanding the importance of teamwork within hotel operations.
  • Knowledgeable in property facilities, services, and hours of operation.
  • Confidently answering emails, phone and in-person enquiries.

About You

You’re driven by a passion for creating unforgettable experiences at Ace Sydney, always going above and beyond with your positive, can-do attitude. With a knack for building strong relationships and staying organised, you’re genuinely invested in making every guest’s stay exceptional. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
